The Turner Techwood campus was my first "official" job site out of high school. (I worked in construction since I was 12.) I started with Cleveland electric doing 500mcm cable pulls through all five stories of this building.

I then ventured into general contracting where I undertook several ventures including Carlyle heights. Pictured here. This was a 200+ apartment to condominium conversion I had the pleasure to be a large part of. This is one of several conversions in the Atlanta metropolitan area.

The Georgia International Convention Center is the second largest convention center in Georgia. I am happy to have participated in the groundwork for such a sprawling piece of infrastructure.

I later felt compelled to enter the service of my country. I served honorably as a 13F under the 172 SBCU 4-23 IN., 1/25 3-21IN, and 10th Mountain 3-71 CAV. I served a tour in Muqdadiyah Iraq and replaced Medal of Honor recipient Jared Monty.

After the military i used my G.I. bill to earn an associate in biology. During this time I worked for Seissenschmidt where I learned machining. Eventually I became capable enough to do setups for new parts and developed these setups into kits easy enough for the machine operators to change over.

Continuing in my education I pursued a bachelors in engineering. During this time I was brought on as a design engineer for P&L Development. This role was responsible for designing manufacturing assembling and maintaining automotive assembly equipment from inception to end of life.

After many years in the cold north of the U.S. I came home to Georgia and began serving Amazon as a Reliability Engineer and Controls Leader. Focusing in process improvement and uptime. In my spare time I created applications and software that increased maintenance performance while decreasing cost.

Which has lead me to where I am now as the Mechanical Engineer for  Minebea in North America. My efforts have been focused on process improvement mostly on automated paint lines. However, I also get involved in injection molding and assembly.
